Our Leadership

Jenna Courtney

Chief Executive Officer

Jenna Courtney joined TXPOST in 2019, bringing more than a decade of policy making and advocacy experience from her time in and around the Texas Legislature. She focuses on the full integration of strategic objectives across program areas in order to maximize organizational effort and impact. Through her work, she seeks policy solutions and strives to develop diverse champions to drive progress and change in complex systems. She has extensive experience developing and managing nuanced and multi-faceted issue management campaigns that bridge media, government, and public relations to provide unified and targeted messages to engage stakeholders and influence decision makers.

Under her leadership, TXPOST has expanded its suite of services and supports, grown its staff, developed deeper and more extensive relationships across Texas, and applied metrics to measure success against organizational goals and objectives.

Prior to joining TXPOST, Jenna worked for a boutique public affairs firm in Austin, Imperium Public Affairs (IPA), where she provided turnkey services to the firm’s diverse clientele. She oversaw the drafting and implementation of advocacy strategies around a suite of individualized public policy solutions in a number of sectors, including public education, municipal governance, health care, transportation, energy, and the environment. Jenna’s advocacy and strategic guidance was instrumental in passing revolutionary legislation that enabled the first-ever widespread analysis of afterschool programs—legislation that is becoming a model for afterschool education across the nation.

Lindsay Macik

Chief Operating Officer

Lindsay returned to TXPOST in 2024 and brings extensive operations and communications experience and a deep commitment to social impact to the team. She was recently the founding Director of Marketing and Communications at Change Summer, a national nonprofit that partners with leading school organizations to provide students from under-resourced communities with transformative overnight summer camp experiences. Prior to that, Lindsay was the founding Director of Outreach and Engagement at TXPOST. Previously, she served on the leadership team at Matterlab, an equity impact agency that partners with nonprofits, schools, and education leaders. Lindsay spent many years working in film publicity and also brings that unique creative background to her work—leading innovative solutions to advance equitable opportunities for youth.

Lindsay’s own youth was spent in music rooms, theaters, dance studios, and band camps, where she gained invaluable skills and relationships to support her through college, career, and life. She graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Business and is a White-Riley-Peterson Afterschool Policy Fellow. In addition to singing and seeing new movies, Lindsay enjoys hiking and paddling in the great outdoors.

Jenny McClure

Director of Programs

Jenny joined TXPOST in 2024 as the Director of Programs to lead the organization’s quality improvement efforts and services expansion in and with out of school time (OST) programs and professionals. In this influential role, she manages relationships with OST intermediaries as well as direct service organizations. Jenny also oversees strategic direction for all existing and future professional development and technical assistance offerings to provide relevant and high-quality support to the OST field.

Jenny is an accomplished educator and leader in the field of education with over two decades of experience. For 11 years, she taught 2nd and 3rd grade, fostering a nurturing environment that sparked a lifelong love for learning in her students. Her passion for education and dedication to student success led her to join the Andy Roddick Foundation (ARF) as a Quality and Outcomes Specialist in 2016.

During her 8-year tenure at ARF, Jenny played a pivotal role in driving quality improvement and evaluation efforts across various initiatives. As the manager of the esteemed afterschool program, she ensured the delivery of high-quality content and resources, empowering students to excel academically. Additionally, Jenny’s expertise was instrumental in developing and facilitating over 30 professional development sessions for out of school time professionals, equipping them with invaluable skills to enhance educational outcomes and create transformative learning experiences.
