Jenna Courtney joined TXPOST in 2019 and brings more than a decade of policy making and advocacy experience from her time in and around the Texas Legislature. She has extensive experience developing and managing complex and multi-faceted issue management campaigns that bridge media, government, and public relations to provide unified and targeted messages tailored to achieve client goals and objectives.
Prior to joining TXPOST, Jenna worked for a boutique public affairs firm in Austin, Imperium Public Affairs (IPA), where she provided turnkey services to the firm’s diverse clientele. She oversaw the drafting and implementation of advocacy strategy around a suite of individualized public policy solutions in a number of sectors, including public education, municipal governance, health care, transportation, energy, and the environment. Jenna’s advocacy and strategic guidance was instrumental in passing revolutionary legislation that enables the first-ever widespread analysis of afterschool programs—legislation that is becoming a model for afterschool education across the nation.
